This position reports to Service Operations Manager Your role and responsibilities You are a service technician in the specialized department of Human System Interface, focusing on service requests and orders.
You are responsible for the execution of service contracts, always keeping time, budget, as well as quality and safety guidelines in mind.
Your Key responsibilities will be.
• Collaboration in the execution of service contracts and maintenance of systems and installations in the field of critical infrastructure.
• Administration of Windows servers and clients, networks, backups, group policies, as well as serving as a competent point of contact for technical issues, both remotely and on-site for national and international customers.
• Travel activity is about 50%, of which 70% is within Germany.
• Coordinate and define work processes, execution, etc.

• Prepare reports and protocols.
Update and supplement related documents such as system overviews, functional, wiring, and circuit diagrams.
• Maintain and increase customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout all project phases.
• Act independently with a strong sense of responsibility towards your colleagues and the business, in full alignment with our ABB values for safety and integrity.
Qualifications for the role Successfully completed vocational training or technician in the field of information/electrical engineering or a comparable field.
Ideally, 2-3 years of professional experience in engineering.
Highly familiar with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge in the areas of network technology/IT security/virtualization (VMWare)/Active Directory/WSUS/Acronis.
Ideally, initial experience with ABB 800xA and ABB Melody.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, is required.
Clear focus on occupational safety and a strong commitment to consistently adhering to all safety guidelines.
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a desire to stay informed about new technologies.
Collaborative and solution-oriented working style, along with strong communication skills.
