Introduction We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled ServiceController to oversee our financial operations and drive innovation in our aftermarket reporting processes.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial success of our company.
In this position, you will report to the VP of Finance, NCA MA.
This would preferrably be located in any Metso location within the NCA Region.
But, to the right candidate, other locations may possibly be considered.
What you will do.
Develop and enhance aftermarket reporting processes, policies, practices and tools by leveraging cutting-edge technology Craft comprehensive reporting packages for the Vice President of Aftermarket Sales Steer precise financial planning and analysis initiatives across OI, Sales, SM and SGA Proactively monitorand analyze accurate revenue cost & margin and reporting deviations andswiftly reporting any deviations and recommending corrective actions to preempt potential financial impacts Provide essential financial support to sales, delivery, supply, and other departments to ensure monthly targets are met, consistently adhering to Global Processes, tools, and templates Deliver ongoing training and guidance on financial matters to team members Ensure compliance and maintain a unified set of financial data, establishing a direct link between financials and the Metso Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet Calculate burden rates for Professional Services and meticulously track accuracy throughout the year, offering clear explanations for any deviations Actively participate in AR collection effort and be ready to contact customers to solve overdue payments promptly together with collection team Take charge of preparing monthly short-term saes estimate for MA review Conduct detailed deviation analyses for all relevant items - actual vs.
plan and estimates Track, validate and report quality costs Provide robust support for new finance transformation initiatives, leading efforts to ensure successful implementation Establish and strengthen support capabilities in controlling for service centers within your designated area, with a focus on empowering them to cultivate a more profitable business Participate in merger and acquisition activities, supplying precise information on relevant topics Offer ad-hoc support for Aftermarket Controlling activities in various capacities Who you are.
Have a comprehensive grasp of business and industry dynamics Proficiency in key financial business performance metrics, including the Income Statement and Balance Sheet Sound understanding of control tools for effective financial management Familiarity with compliance issues and policies governing financial operations Demonstrated execution skills and proactive approach to tasks General management acumen, including the ability to challenge stakeholders constructively Strategic thinking with an aptitude for envisioning long-term business objectives Influencing and leading change Effective planning and organizational skills to streamline processes Proficient in SAP system, especially in CO module, consolidation and reporting Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint Capacity to work independently and thrive in high-pressure situations What's in it for you.
