What you’ll do To purpose of the role is to make authentic connections with the consumer, understanding their wants and needs to match them with the right Volvo product.
The role will, both educate and guide the consumer, ensuring a consistent experience through the omnichannel approach.
This role represents Volvo, so must always demonstrate professionalism, best practice and putting the consumer.
This role will identify where the consumer is on their buying journey and adapt the experience to suite, always looking to maximise opportunities to sell but recognising that may not be a direct conversion but instead booking in an appointment at a retailer or test drive.
This is a SAF Accredited role.
Your key deliverables will include.
Respond to all enquiries via telephone, email, chat, text and video with the aim of moving the consumer further along the journey Build rapport with customers through friendly, engaging communication Process enquiries appropriately on the CRM system (Salesforce) to enable future follow-up Perform against a range of KPI’s, including commercial, consumer and operational Captures and records detailed consumer information in the CRM, based not only on the basic hygiene information, but additional insight to allow for when to advise a consumer a holistic solution/offering, to include accessories and packages for a personal premium service When appropriate, upsell customers by outlining the benefits of premium grades, packs, and options Support marketing initiatives by maximising the conversion of inbound leads Acquire new customers by following up leads generated from direct marketing campaigns by outbound calling Perform outbound calls to potential customers to qualify them as sales leads with the aim of converting them to a prospect and later a customer Proactively contribute ideas and suggestions for improving our customer’s experience Work collaboratively with our Customer Relations department to ensure all sales-related customer requests can be handled effectively Liaise with our retailer partners (Volvo dealer network) to ensure a seamless omnichannel customer journey Conversion of prospect leads from the VCBC and Retailers to ensure all appointments are actively followed up to achieve a sold order in order to maximise sales and profitability Achieves and maintains a SAF accreditation as relevant to the legislation.
Achieves and maintains all areas of required competence, including QA assessments   What you’ll bring The successful candidate will be.
Be able to provide evidence of a successful track record in high-volume sales and value-based selling Good communication skills (oral and written) with great presentation and influencing A detailed understanding of all aspects of the business sales car market Ability to sell an idea to internal (VCUK) and external (business clients / retailers / lease companies) is essential to achieve optimal sales and contribution returns for VCUK.
Able to build rapport and understanding with a diverse range of stakeholders Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, e.

Excel, Word, Outlook Proficient in the use of CRM systems, such as Salesforce Proven to have a track record of adapting to various styles and high standard of customer satisfaction Able to demonstrates resilience, self-motivation, and a commitment to self-development, actively seeking positive feedback.

Able to communicate positively with colleagues and customers at all levels with confidence.
