The IT Support Specialist role will include responding to hardware problems, updating system software and tracking the data and communications used on their network.
Essential Functions % TIME Assisting with Infrastructure Upgrades and Maintenance Support senior team members in the implementation of infrastructure upgrades at various North American locations.
Assist with server, network, and firewall upgrades under supervision to ensure optimal performance and security.
Help maintain infrastructure enhancements to support business operations effectively.
25% Site Changes and Application Planning.
Planning and coordinating infrastructure and application changes for site expansions, relocations, or modifications.
Work under guidance to ensure all changes are aligned with business objectives and technical requirements.
15% Audio-Visual Systems Support Provide basic troubleshooting, support, and upgrades for AV systems across multiple locations.
Ensure AV systems are functioning efficiently to support business meetings, presentations, and events.
10% Supporting Legacy Systems Supporting and upgrading legacy systems used in CC OT (Operational Technology), laboratories, warehouses, and other critical areas.
Help maintain or replace legacy systems to meet current standards and business needs.
15% Assisting with Corporate Integration and Migration Projects Support the integration of corporate IT systems during mergers, acquisitions, or other organizational changes.
Assist with migration projects to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption to business operations.
10% IT and Cybersecurity Coordination Support Collaborate with IT and Cybersecurity teams to address and communicate security-related issues under supervision.
Help ensure all security protocols and measures are followed and up-to-date.
5% End-User Escalation Support Provide initial escalation support for end-user issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution with guidance from senior team members.
Coordinate with distributed IT support teams to address and resolve technical problems.
10% VIP User Support (5%) Assist in offering dedicated IT support to VIP users, ensuring their technical needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Maintain a high level of customer service and responsiveness for VIP user issues.
