his roleThe Global Payroll Director is responsible for developing and executing the global payroll strategy across multiple countries and regions on a global scale, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, and driving process improvements and systems.
esponsibilitiesLead the global payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing for multiple countries and regions (Latam, United States, Africa, and SE Asia).
nsure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, social security, and statutory requirements in each jurisdiction.
rive the implementation, optimization, and integration of payroll systems and technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
ollaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, Legal, and IT, to align payroll processes with organizational objectives.
repare and oversee payroll audits, managing relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders for audits and compliance checks.
tay ahead of changes in global payroll regulations and practices, adapting policies and processes as needed.
evelop and implement global payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure consistent practices and compliance.
evelop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess payroll performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
ct as a strategic advisor to leadership on payroll-related matters, including cost management and process improvements.
ualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
inimum of 8+ years of experience in managing relationships with global payroll service providers, with at least 3 years in a global or multi-country payroll role in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
roven experience implementing and scaling payroll systems in a multinational environment.
trong knowledge of global payroll compliance, statutory deductions, tax rates, social security requirements, and benefits regulations in multiple countries, particularly in LATAM and the US.
xceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
xcellent understanding of HRIS systems and their integration with payroll systems.
trong analytical skills to assess payroll data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
