Director, ECS, Enterprise Platform - ServiceNow Cross-Platform Solution Architect Introduction to role As a ServiceNow Cross-Platform Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in implementing and optimizing NOW Platform capability by analyzing and translating business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints.
This role will propose solutions to achieve complex business objectives while ensuring standard methodologies in technical governance, platform implementation, and user adoption.
Your extensive experience and deep knowledge of the NOW platform will be pivotal in delivering solutions that meet enterprise needs, delight users, and drive AZ Ambition strategy.
You will demonstrate your deep expertise in ServiceNow to design, configure, and deploy high-quality, outcome-focused solutions.

Technical Leadership and Advocacy.
Serve as the technical advocate for the NOW platform, ensuring architectural integrity, feasibility, and alignment with business and customer goals, NFRs, and applicable architecture and engineering standards—being responsible for solution architecture blueprints, high-level architecture designs, and integration architecture into the technical landscape and technology stack.

Engineering Craftsmanship.
Possess passion and experience as an individual contributor, responsible for the engineering designs and technical feasibility of solutions, being hands-on with design as well as configuration part of the time, contributing to team velocity.
Actively engage with engineers to ensure architecture is understood and can be implemented, working with them closely during sprints, helping resolve any technical issues through to production operations.

Act as a Role-Model, leveraging these techniques to optimize solutioning and product delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes with minimal waste.
Demonstrate proficiency in ServiceNow platform capability implementation, from conceptualization and design to implementation and scaling, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.

Domain Expertise.
Quickly acquire domain-specific knowledge relevant to the business or implemented ServiceNow modules.
Translate business/user needs and UX/UI designs into technical requirements and designs.
Navigate various enterprise functions such as business and enabling areas as well as product, experience, delivery, infrastructure, and security to drive product value and feasibility as well as alignment with organizational goals.

Essential Skills/Experience • ServiceNow Knowledge.
Familiarity with ServiceNow, especially in core platform capability is required.
You have a confident manner towards customers and demonstrable practical experience in the independent implementation of customer workshops and in requirements management • Consultative Attitude.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and drive complex projects from feasibility to completion • Partner Management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence collaborators at all levels (also communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences) • User Experience.

Experience in analyzing business processes, creating workflow diagrams, and documenting requirements in a clear and concise manner • Required Certifications.
Certified ServiceNow Master Architect & ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.

Proficiency in creating architectural designs, solution presentations, and integration strategies, particularly within Employee Workflow environments.
Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS) Desirable Skills/Experience Typically, a ServiceNow Cross-Platform Solution Architect would have 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow solutioning and ServiceNow administration, with an overall experience of 10+ years.
As part of the experience is also in bringing to bear or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI.
