To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in procurement sourcing, consulting, buyer, andor analyst experience. You should also possess excellent data analytics skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and delivering results. Additionally, you should have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
This position requires the ability to travel up to 10 of the time. As a Commodity Specialist, you will be working closely with international teams, so it is important that you are a dependable team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in Packaging, Fasteners, andor Machined Parts, strong problemsolving skills and methods, and familiarity with supply chain tools such as MRP and GEP.
