This position is remote, but you'll be required to visit our offices on the first day.
You can apply from Mexico City, Jalisco, or states around them within a 6-hour drive distance.
The Staff Accountant is a skilled position responsible for complying with all the accounting processes and GAAP.
The main activities for this position are.
Prepare bank reconciliations, expense accruals, and journal entries for a portfolio of clients.
Review general ledger account activity to ensure financial statement accuracy and adherence to accounting policies.
Produce monthly financial statements (Balance sheet, P&L, income statement) and internal/external reports as needed/requested by upper management for approval.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties required to drive consistent implementation of best practices Prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once, particularly during month and year-end.
Assist in operating projections, analysis, and annual budgeting.
Partnering with the AR and AP teams to ensure the accuracy of their inputs into General Ledger.
Review PL, compare budget, and identify variance.

Minimum requirements Around 2 to 3 years of experience working in a similar position.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related finance.
Experience within a GBS or shared service center is desired.
Experience working with multiple accounts.
Advanced accounting vocabulary knowledge in English Strong communication skills in writing in English.
Understanding of accrual accounting and US GAAP Advanced Excel.
