We are currently searching for a VMware Administrator.
Responsibilities Provide regular support for VMware and Windows environments by resolving escalated tickets for internal and external customers.
Identify and implement solutions for operational issues.
Design, install, and administer virtualization products (VMware and Hyper-V).
Ensure accuracy in building and maintaining computer infrastructure to prevent malfunctions, bugs, and security breaches.
Provide technical support and explain complex topics in layman’s terms.
Produce technical documentation about infrastructure design, quality standards, testing procedures, and other project information.
Interpret diagrams and system plans.
Requirements Minimum 6 years of experience in VMware administration.
Overall 10+ years of experience in datacenter management and IT infrastructure management.
Advanced proficiency with vSphere, vSAN, and other VMware products and platforms.
Working knowledge of firewalls, servers, networks, and operating systems.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify the main source of product issues and provide quick, elegant solutions.
Strong customer orientation.
Comfortable with technical writing.
Desired Experience with the following VMware products.
Horizon, vRealize, vSphere, NSX Cloud.
Experience using network devices such as servers, routers, and firewalls.
Familiarity with network administrator tools such as WinSCP, Putty, and Wireshark.
Languages Advanced Oral English.
Native Spanish.
Note.
Remote work in Mexico for the first 3 months, then availability to relocate to the United States.
The company will provide travel expenses and help with the work visa process.
