Are you ready to make your next career move to join our team as Trade Compliance Specialist in Torreón, Coahuila? As our next Trade Compliance Specialist you will ensure that trade activities comply with the laws and regulations of the countries involved.
This includes understanding tariffs, export and import controls, and sanctions.
The position will research and maintain product classifications according to tariff codes of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and ECCN numbers, country of origin, and preferential treatments, assist with Customs compliance audits, and maintaining compliance records.
Essential skills for this role include attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a firm grasp of regulatory research tools, including the use of trade compliance software, AI-based solution, and automation tools leveraged to streamline internal compliance processes.
Furthermore, this role will require.
Understanding of Mexico/Canadian/US and international import/export Technical knowledge of USMCA Ability to work on projects/issues as assigned with minimal supervision Strong organizational, time management & multi-tasking skills, Detail oriented, open-minded individual Solid written and oral communication and presentation skills Proficient with Microsoft Suite of products and ERP systems Bachelor's degree in international trade, international business, international trade relations or similar.
At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
