Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to IBM\uers and our clients.
Your Role and Responsibilities Specializes in testing.
Performs tasks to understand business requirements, design optimized test scenarios, plan the testing activities, estimate work efforts, create test cases, identify test environment and test data requirements, identify dependencies on external and internal applications, execute test cases using manual and automation solutions, report test status, perform defect creation, triage and resolution and analyze the test outcome for continuous improvements using analytical and cognitive techniques and tools.
Has deep skills in core testing, technical testing r handling techniques/tools and business domain/processes to meaningfully understand data.
Has good skills in using different testing tools, simulation/virtualization solutionsand modelling approach of testing, test accelerators and methods to bring quality and efficiency in test delivery.
Has skills to identify, create and manage test data required for different type and level of testing.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise Hands on experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
Hands on experience in a leadership role within an automation or QA function.
\u Expertise in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and strategies.
\u Proficiency with a wide range of automation tools and technologies (e.
., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, Rest Assured, Gitlab).
\u Strong Java programming skills to build complex E2E test automation scenarios.
\u In-depth understanding of BDD and TDD practices and experience with related tools (e.
., Cucumber JVM).
\u Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.
., Git, SVN).
\u Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and initiatives.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Knowledge of AWS
