Position Project Manager PM
Location Remote
Coverage Region CALA and USA

Reports to Senior Project Manager at Ciena
1.Introduction
This SoW outlines the responsibilities and expectations for the Project Manager PM role, leading projects in the CALA and USA regions, with a primary focus on the Meta Facebook account. The PM will report to a Senior PM at Ciena and work remotely.
2. Service Objective
The PM will be responsible for the comprehensive management of projects, ensuring proper planning, execution, and closure while maintaining key performance indicators for time, cost, and quality.
3. Scope of Work
The scope includes, but is not limited to
Managing optical projects in the CALA and USA regions.
Handling the Meta Facebook account, adapting to fastpaced changes and responding promptly.
Overseeing budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Selecting and managing partners for project execution.
Maintaining databases and reports in Salesforce and Mavenlink.
Attending meetings and coordinating with clients and internal teams.
4. Specific Responsibilities
Ensure proper project planning and execution.
Efficiently manage clientrequested changes.
Maintain project profitability by keeping costs under control.
Act as the primary contact between Ciena and clients.
Accurately document and report project progress.
5. Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in managing optical projects.
Knowledge of IRM procurement and vendor selection.
Strong communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Experience using management tools like Salesforce and Mavenlink.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Expected Deliverables
Detailed project plan for each assignment.
Weekly progress and followup reports.
Documentation of changes and risk management.
Continuous updates on Salesforce and Mavenlink.
7. Duration Schedule
Fulltime contract based on EST working hours, with occasional Pacific Time meetings.
Quarterly performance evaluation and objective assessment.
8. Compensation Conditions
25003500 USD per month.
100 remote work.
Direct report to Cienas Senior PM.
9. Evaluation Criteria

Client satisfaction and effective communication.
Maintenance and updating of management tools.
Adaptability and problemsolving skills.
