As a Tax Intern you will have the opportunity to gain real tax and accounting professional experience.
Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by helping the business avoid potential penalties for non-filing, as well as identifying tax cost savings opportunities.
The team you will be working with is collaborative and helpful, and values the variety and complex work that is affiliated with tax.
So, what will you be doing as a(n) Tax Intern? Assist with corporate tax compliance including tax returns, extensions, estimated tax payments, and income tax accounting Tax research and special projects Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while also providing information to senior staff members Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities   To be successful in this role, you’ll need.
On track to graduate with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Expected graduation date of May or later Familiarity with Microsoft Excel   Things we consider a plus.
Candidates with a GPA of at least 3.
