Sr.
System Administrator Location.
Hybrid in Mexico City.
Required Skills and Experience.
Bachelor’s in computer systems, Informatics, or similar.
Intermediate-Advanced English   5 to 8 years of engineering experience focused heavily on designing, planning, implementing, and maintaining NetApp storage arrays, Commvault Backup Solutions\Appliances.
Experience with.
PowerShell, Cohesity storage, TCP/IP; Active Directory; Microsoft operating systems.
Familiar with a variety of monitoring tools.
The Role.
Under minimal supervision, responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise-wide NetApp solution and Commvault enterprise backup solution.
Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves hardware related problems.
Maintains data files and monitors system configurations to ensure data integrity.
Senior level requires very little, if any, day-to-day supervision.
Is considered an expert in the technical aspects of storage and backups environments; makes solid, and well thought out, technical recommendations to a designated manager and the Director of Infrastructure Operations.
Provides guidance and direction to less-experienced Systems Engineers.
