Global Procurement manages and optimizes the third party spend of Thomson Reuters.

bout the RoleIn this opportunity as Sr.
Manager, Content Sourcing, you will.
anage team of Sourcing Analysts, assign and delegate workload, mentor and train, support on project escalationDevelop Category Plans and Sourcing Strategies containing a portfolio of key initiatives which deliver the IT StrategyContribute to the development of the annual pipeline of Content sourcing initiatives, integrating with the financial planning processInstill Global Procurement Methodology, as well as proper use of Procurement Policy across the organizationDeliver Content sourcing initiatives, achieving best value within acceptable riskDraft, redline and negotiate supplier contracts within Thomson Reuters’s contracting standards and business objectivesRationalize the number of Content suppliers and reduce fragmentation in the spend base in order to simplify the supplier landscape and drive commercial efficiencyProvide support and coaching to junior members of the larger Procurement organizationCollaborate with Procurement Legal, Risk Oversight Functions, Product and Business stakeholdersBuild and enhance relationships with strategic Content suppliers to deliver high levels of service whilst maintaining best-in-class commercial terms and conditionsCategory Plans and Sourcing Strategies developed and approved by all relevant stakeholders       High-quality collateral, Sourcing project artifacts, and negotiated supplier agreements developed and approved in accordance with the Global Procurement Methodology at each stage of the sourcing lifecycle to facilitate informed decision-making amongst the stakeholder communitySignificantly reduced third party risks with mitigation strategies for each Content sourcing initiativeSignificant and sustainable annual reduction in Thomson Reuters cost-base, demonstrated using a robust savings methodology which is consistently applied and rigorously approvedAbout YouYou're a fit for the role if your background includes.
t least 5-10+ years of experience in Sourcing including successful development and negotiation of agreementsExperience in managing teams of various skill set; strong leadership capabilities with the ability to train and mentor team as well as delegate workload and support on escalations.
roven track record of delivering significant and sustainable cost reductions through effective implementation of a coherent Sourcing strategyDeep understanding of contract terms and contractual language; proven skills and experience in drafting and redlining contractsGood external and internal relationship management and cross-functional leadership skillsExperienced sourcing practitioner, understanding of best-practice sourcing methodology and a demonstrated track record of working ethically to achieve excellent outcomesExperience of leading negotiations with major suppliers  Knowledge of the sourcing marketplace and trends in the industry, as well as regulatory climate, including the ability to assess the impact of change in the context of the sourcing strategyExpert analytics and ability to develop coherent and high-quality sourcing collateral including business cases, contract summaries, presentations, and RFx materialsExperience in building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business executivesBachelor’s degree, Procurement certification or equivalent experience.
