Job Summary
This position is a softwaretesting role working with an integrated team of business analysts, product owners and developers. The primary objective for this position is to plan, prepare, and execute a suite of automated test cases written based on business requirements or user stories as they pertain to changes within the software products. The position also includes creating test automation frameworks, defect tracking and status reporting.
Responsibilities
1.Review business requirements. Analyze functional system changes and integration points.
2.Create test strategies, plans, test cases, and test automation based on analysis
3.API Testing
4.Creating frameworks for test automation
5.Prioritize tests based on high, medium and low criticality
6.Write test scripts based on test plan covering all phases of testing.
7.Review test plan and test cases with team
8.Execute functional, Integration and regression test cases
9.Identify and record Defects
10.Familiarity with ADO or Agile project tools
11.Provides support and retesting during UAT
12.Work collaboratively with the Project Teams. Change and Release Management, Application Support Teams to ensure transparent, integrated processes and seamless support delivery.
13.Keep up to date with standards and requirements of Software Quality Assurance best practices
Qualifications
14.Possess excellent communication and partnership skills
15.Minimum of 3 5 years of experience in test automation
16.Experience with PostMan or SOAPUI
17.Experience with SAP, .Net and mobile application testing preferred
18.Knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent test management tool
19.Experience with test automation such as Tosca, Selenium, TestComplete or equivalent is required.
20.Basic understanding of methods and processes used in Application Lifecycle Management and industry standard software quality assurance practices.
21.Experience with Agile preferred.
22.Proven problem solving and analytical skills
23.Associated Degree in a Computer Science field or equivalent combination of education and experience
