SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug very complex Oracle Forms, Java and database applications.
Career Level - IC3 Our successful candidate will be technically adept in software development, possessing a broad combination of skills and experiences, and does not mind rolling up his/her sleeves to make the team successful.
This role requires that you be technically curious with a strong desire to understand how things are built and work.
This role also requires a forward-thinking openness to new technologies and approaches while remaining vigilantly focused on regulatory strength and maximum availability.
Key Responsibilities As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures Provide expertise in the development of new products / services / processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.
Perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing, and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Drive a customer-first culture that keeps the customer at the forefront of decision making Lead a holistic and integrated approach to providing data integrity, information confidentiality, and service availability.
Define and monitor performance indicators.
Ideal Experience BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher reports 3+ years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL 1+ years of in-depth knowledge of Core Java and J2EE development Experience inREST APIs and JavaScript-based UI development Relational Database knowledge is advantageous Good knowledge and experience in architecture and designing of complex applications Ability to tune complex Oracle SQL queries for better performance.
Experience designing solutions with security and high performing applications Experience in architecture, engineering, deployment, and operational management Strong technical acumen; creativity; interpersonal skills; emotional intelligence Knowledge of common web application and mobile frameworks Demonstrated expertise in bringing applications to Cloud (optional) As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow’s technology to tackle today’s problems.
