manages the teams and process effectiveness of receiving operations, transport organizing and planning, warehouse operations, management of physical inventory, internal logistics and outbound operations.
ensures a safe working environment.
manages the team based on the company’s cultural principles.
manages the workload of the area (receiving, shipping, internal movements, warehouse) and optimize the allocated resources.
has strong knowledge in import-export requirements and ensures all are fulfilled.
defines and set up the physical organization of warehouses within site(s).
organizes and control the internal transportation of material in order to assure the best service level and cost.
is interface between supply chain and production at shop floor level ensuring material movement is in accordance with operational expectations.
develops and optimizes all physical and information flows using lean principles (including company owned external warehouses).
manages and controls the transactional flow for all physical flows.
ensures actual inventory accuracy and reliability (fifo and cycle counting, etc.) manages inbound and outbound freight with external providers, suppliers and customers.
has strong knowledge in import-export requirements and ensures all are fulfilled.
