SENIOR PAYROLL ADMIN

CSTAbout Pavago Pavago is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Payroll Admin to manage and execute payroll processes for our client’s company.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The candidate will be responsible for administering various forms of compensation, processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis, and providing support for payroll-related inquiries.

Payroll Compliance.
Ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures, including adherence to U.

Federal, state, and local laws regarding payroll processing.
Bonus Administration.
Administer and process associate bonuses, including commissions, sign-on bonuses, discretionary bonuses, and performance bonuses (yearly and quarterly) in alignment with goals set forth by Indio Management.
Payroll Processing.
Check the accuracy and process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, addressing any payroll-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Direct Deposit Management.
Set up and process direct deposit transfer information for all employees, ensuring secure and timely transactions.
Timekeeping Oversight.
Monitor departmental time records within timekeeping software, providing assistance to departments with payroll issues and inquiries.
Time Card Approval.
Review and approve associate time cards, collaborating with managers and executives to ensure accurate time entry and processing of time-off requests.
Reporting.
Create ad-hoc reports for leadership detailing employee hours, wages, commissions, and total earnings to assist in financial planning and analysis.
Requirements & Skills Education.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience.
A Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is preferred; alternatively, 5+ years of demonstrated experience in payroll administration is required, with multistate payroll administration experience highly preferred.
Technical Skills.
Proficiency in payroll software and timekeeping systems; strong knowledge of Excel for reporting and analysis.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data and processing.
Compliance Knowledge.
Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, including federal and state tax requirements.
