We are currently searching for a Sr Delivery Manager.
Responsibilities Project Coordination.
Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of projects, managing the lifecycle from requirement definition to deployment while coordinating with internal departments and external providers.
Technical Leadership.
Act as a Technical Leader with a strong background in Java,.
et, Oracle, and IBM WAS, driving technical solutions and best practices across teams.
Support and Incident Management.
Ensure Business as Usual (BAU) operations are maintained, including incident backlog management, issue resolution, and task prioritization.
Manage patch management and vulnerability assessments and coordinate application and infrastructure updates.
Vendor and Resource Management.
Manage vendor relationships, including contracts and incident escalations.
Oversee a team of 3 direct reports (Infrastructure, Application Support, Incident Management) and coordinate with external providers for infrastructure and software.
Infrastructure Oversight.
Manage an environment consisting of servers, application systems, and tasks spread across teams.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards, especially within the banking sector.
System Development.
Leverage prior experience in system development to drive innovation and align technology with business goals.
Business Operations.
Manage projects within Investment Funds, SPEI, SWIFT, and Payment Systems (70% focus on these areas).
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT environments, production support, and project management within the banking or financial services sector.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a PMP certification or equivalent being highly desirable.
Experience in patch management, vendor management, and maintaining application/infrastructure availability.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and strong knowledge of regulatory compliance in the banking industry.
Desired Advanced knowledge of database management (Oracle), programming languages (Java, VB.
et), and middleware (WAS IBM).
Strong organizational skills, multitasking, and prioritization.
Ability to manage and develop teams, fostering growth and delegation.
Capacity to handle high-pressure situations and manage emergency incidents.
Languages Advanced Oral English.
Native Spanish.
