SENIOR ACCOUNTANT GL

It's an exciting time to join our growing Accounting team with ample development opportunities.
We're looking for a Senior GL Accountant who will work with other general ledger accounting staff on daily accounting operations.
About the Role You will report to our Accounting Manager on the Accounting team.
If you’re a proactive and self-motivated accountant, this is the role for you.
Progressive experience in accounting operations, internal controls and financial systems is required, as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger Key owner of the monthly close process for US and foreign entities for specific areas Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Consolidated financial statements using accepted procedures Help provide deliverables to external auditor on annual audits and quarterly reviews Communicate with FP&A, employees and external parties regarding relevant accounting matters Manage service desk for the accounting team for all partners Perform ad-hoc analyses and projects We’re excited about you because… 4+ years of relevant accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting Experience with ERP software is a must (i.
., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and digest large amounts of data Strong written and verbal proficiency in English Nice to have.
experience with Alteryx or similar data analytics software We use Covey as part of our hiring and / or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT.
