HPE is looking for an energetic, innovative, and forward-thinking Intern to join the Design, Development, and Technology team, specifically the Portfolio Learning Solutions Group.
This group is comprised of high-performing Learning Architects, Instructional Designers and Development Managers– working out of the United States, Mexico and Romania.
In this role, you will learn how to create sales training programs and courses that will enable our HPE sellers to quickly learn about key initiatives and offerings and help them embrace our as-a-service model, which emphasizes our common goal of delivering value to our customers—directly and indirectly, at every touchpoint.
As an intern, you must be able to.
Contribute to sustaining HPE Portfolio's training project management process Align development priorities with the needs of the company corporate and/or business/functions and key initiatives Manage core content workstreams, where applicable Provide project management or content development assistance to multiple team members Essential Job Functions The role will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities.
Form and maintain relationship with Learning Architects, Development Managers, and Instructional Designers to ensure training meets all requirements.
Professional and efficient collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement the best learning practices.
Basic content design and consulting skills.
Will be able to support project management activities for Sales Enablement and the Skills and Onboarding team.
This role will consist of various responsibilities including project management, content development, and team member project support.
Ability to learn how to.
Align learning solutions with course objectives and learner needs.
Create and monitor training/courses.
Use various learning solutions and the latest most innovative technologies to develop core content.
Understand and quickly adopt new, innovations, complex tools, technologies to keep the program and core content fun and engaging for our sellers.
Skills Must be organized with strong attention to detail; existing or willingness to learn project management, planning, process development, and organizational skills Strong customer service skills to support internal and external customers, responsive attitude Planning, communication, change management, and cultural awareness skills, including financial and global business acumen Familiarity with learning content and content development applications, delivery solutions and innovations Demonstrates a "can-do" spirit, ownership, and commitment Highly motivated and able to manage constant change Strong oral and written communication skills (English) Familiarity with course design and development Expert MS Office skills Has advanced organizational and time management skills Background in writing and editing (English) Qualifications Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program/Or, recent graduate receiving a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, mostly in the area of Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication.
Passionate about project management and content development Must be able to work independently on multiple tasks and exercise judgment within defined parameters Good Technology skills - Microsoft Office knowledge is a must (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and background knowledge of content development would be useful.
Articulate program basic skills would be a plus.
Ability to be collaborative, solution-focused and act with a sense of urgency, where needed Strong verbal and written communication using a variety of tools Fluent English speaker Additional Skills.
