SALES DIRECTOR ( EXPERIENCE IN HOME APPLIANCES)

The Sales Director will oversee the development and execution of the comprehensive sales strategy for the company’s home appliance portfolio (including air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and more) within the Mexican market. This position emphasizes expanding market presence and boosting sales performance. The preferred candidate will demonstrate deep market knowledge, strategic vision, and exceptional leadership and communication abilities to ensure the successful attainment of sales objectives and business growth milestones.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development and Implementation:
- Design and implement the sales strategy and annual plan for home appliance products in Mexico, ensuring alignment with the company’s sales and profitability objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to develop impactful marketing initiatives and distribution channel strategies.
2. Channel Development and Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and online platforms, optimizing the sales channel structure to increase market coverage.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of each sales channel, adjusting strategies to maximize sales outcomes.
3. Team Management:
- Inspire and manage the sales team by setting clear performance benchmarks and providing guidance to achieve sales targets.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance assessments of team members to foster their professional growth and ensure ongoing team development.
4. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation and control of sales expenses to maximize ROI.
- Regularly analyze sales data, provide business reports, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
5. Brand Promotion and Market Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns that align with the brand's positioning, boosting brand visibility and market influence.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and other events to strengthen and promote the market presence of the home appliance products.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years in sales management in the home appliance industry, with strong experience in market expansion and channel management.
3. Necessary to know the retail channel such as Coppel, Elektra, Liverpool, Walmart, Costco, Sams + regional & wholesales for Home Appliance & for Air Conditioner the specialty channel (REACSA, BOMMSA, CLIMAPROYECTOS, CAM)
4. Language Skills: Fluent in English
