Job Summary.

Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards, testing materials and products II.
Primarily Job Responsibilities Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer Establish and implement metrics (process capability, control charts, measurement quality) for monitoring system effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound product quality decisions Serve as the primary quality control resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement Design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection 4.

Perform root-cause analysis and other problem solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements 4.

Establish collection and analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product quality 4.

Develop quality planning methods for all product lines 4.

Develop process certification standards and assist in process certification.

Oversee calibration and testing programs.
4.

Report to management on quality issues, trends and losses.

Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Analyze customers’ product specifications to establish efficient, cost-effective requirements for ease of manufacture and reproducibility 5.

Review customer purchase orders, contracts and change requests and ensure that the necessary criteria and provisions are included in quality and process plans 5.

Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel Monitor vendor performance and establish criteria and rating system for critical vendors Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality control and assure that effective corrective action is implemented 7.

Review and establish supplier quality requirements Quality system.

Develop, implement, manage and integrate a Quality Management System for the Manufacturing Plant III.

Education.
BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Business Administration V.
Work Experience.
10+ years’ experience in QA systems implementation and management with 5 years as a CQE/CQM in a medium-size automotive manufacturing environment.
Experience in managing technical manufacturing processes such as.
Mid to high level automated assembly Injection Molding Electronics Assembly DC Motors.
VI.
Certifications / Training.
Six Sigma black-belt certified with a proven track record of business performance improvement.

Report water or oil leaks in machines to the EHS department.
Report the lack of environmental badges to the EHS department.
Turn off equipment when they are not being used, includes offices if applicable.
Dispose correctly without mixing of Hazardous and Non-hazardous waste (Cardboard, plastic, etc).
Respect the quality rules at all times to reduce the generation of scrap.
Responsibilities leaders, supervisors and middle managers.
Report water or oil leaks in machines to the EHS department.

Respect the quality rules at all times to reduce the generation of scrap.
It is responsibility to report any of the above mentioned to the EHS or Security Department or your immediate supervisor Establish specific actions for the reduction of scrap in the lines Make sure that the segregation of cardboard and plastic is respected in the specific containers and identified for that purpose.
Report immediately any oil and / or air leaks to the maintenance department in the equipment that concerns them.
