Your Role and Responsibilities Works in an agile, collaborative environment to recommend and develop testing standards and application of quality technologies for Storage.
Encourages application development that builds testing from the ground up.
Ensures the product is robust and failure scenarios are considered and refactored.
Collaborates with cross-functional team members on story development, from before definition through final deployment.
Performs exploratory testing using industry leading practices.
Discovers defects/bugs and works with coders and POs to determine root cause and how to prevent similar issues from happening in the future as well prevents them escaping into the field.
Uses tooling to maintain traceability between requirements, stories, tests and defects.
QA automation is also an important part of this role.
Drive test case development, test matrix characterization, have C and Python skill set, data analytics, test tools, scripting languages, etc.
Drives adoption of test automation for unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing.
Acts as a client advocate testing and providing feedback on items such as quality, usability, serviceability, documentation and real world scenarios.
You will work as a key member of the development teams, interacting with the software developers, architects, information developers and network engineers.
As part of this focused team, you will apply your skills in Scripting to write programs that automate test and stress the systems Test scenario design, development, execution, result analysis, and automation Defect artifact collection, creation, management, and fix verification Test system and environment maintenance and administration Actively participate as a member of the agile test team Workload development, modification, and maintenance Innovate to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations and testing processes Required Technical and Professional Expertise Scripting, Automation, AIX/Linux Automation Scripting Linux Command Line Network Basics Problem Solving Fluent in English Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise Fluent in English Reporting tools such as rtc, jira, etc, ksh Perl Python Ansible
