QA DEVELOPER INTERN

The Job.
Under direct supervision, the QA Developer Intern will contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.
This role involves developing and executing both manual and automated test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating closely with the development team to resolve product quality issues.
The intern will also provide valuable feedback on usability, performance, and overall functionality while gaining hands-on experience with quality assurance methodologies and tools.
What you will be doing.
Create and maintain detailed, structured test cases based on product requirements and updates.
Perform manual and automated test executions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in test outcomes.
Identify, document, and report software issues with clear reproduction steps, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
Develop and execute automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Provide insights on functionality, user experience, and potential improvements during product evaluations.
Maintain testing documentation, track results, and generate reports to support quality assurance processes.
What could set you apart.
Basic understanding of Quality Assurance practices, including knowledge of black box testing.
Basic understanding of a client server and web application environments.
Prioritize work assignments.
Work with team members to resolve testing problems.
Listen and communicate both verbally and in writing to other co-workers and department contacts.
English speaking and comprehension skills.
Requirements.
Being enrolled and pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, at least 1 year to graduate.
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
