PROGRAM MANAGER, BUSINESS PROCESS AUTOMATION AND SOLUTIONS

To support this mission, Amazon is expanding its operations in Mexico, with 10 Fulfillment Centers (FCs) serving as hubs for our operations.
Business Process Automation & Solutions (BPAS) team is seeking a customer-centric Program Manager to drive software development projects supporting FC operations.
In this role, you will listen to operational needs and challenges, refine business requirements, then lead diverse projects all while solving emerging problems and driving successful implementations.
Strong communication, facilitation, and coordination skills are essential, as you will collaborate with global teams across FCs, Transportation, and Supply Chain Management.
We are seeking candidates with not only domain expertise in e-commerce, logistics, or manufacturing, but also a passion for tackling new challenges.
Given the rapid growth of Amazon Mexico, you must be comfortable of solving problems, making changes and dealing with ambiguity.

Project definition support for business owners - 40%.
Define projects with business owners (requirements, resources, schedules, post-launch impact tracking, etc.) and support/lead finalizing the BRD (Business Requirements Document).
Beyond regular progress checks, you will identify potential risks and address the issues to ensure successful project delivery.

Business Adoption Support - 40% Prepare for project launches (user test, launch supports, etc.) and address user feedback post-implementation.
You will also track business impacts and troubleshoot with engineers and other stakeholders to drive business adoption.

Projects Roadmap - 20% Build projects development plan by prioritizing diverse projects based on business impacts vs.
development efforts.
You will be familiar with global tools and provide the best path forward - whether creating custom tools or localizing global tools - to deliver the best solution in long-term.
About the team We're engineering team based in Japan, with members from 12 different countries working together for Japan, Mexico, India and other countries.
This role is based in Mexico, working with local stakeholders but require frequent business trip to Japan.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of experience in project management of software development or system implementation - Comfortable in collaborating with multiple stakeholders across end-to-end Operations to define business requirements - Familiar/have good knowledge in operations, able to discuss the business needs and quantitative business impacts of system development with stakeholders - Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous situation, understanding of organizational and business direction - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.
., Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent) - Open to frequent business trips to Japan (mainly), possibly to other countries.
- Proficient in both English and Spanish (business communication level) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Familiarity with agile methodologies and PM/TPM work experience in software development team - Track record of evaluating technical and business tradeoffs of different development options, and proposing the best short-term and long-term solutions - Experience in working in MX Operations organization - Experience in prioritizing projects based on ROI and reaching consensus with stakeholders - Positive attitude towards ambiguous, complex, and rapidly changing environments - Master's degree in a relevant field (e.
., Computer Science, Engineering) - Open to international transfer to Japan
