This exciting position drives new product development and the management of existing product lines through their retail lifecycles.
As a Product Sourcing Manager you would be in a highly visible role that provides you with the unique opportunity to steer the entire product catalog.
ey Responsibilities.
Actively source a variety of products(particular Toys)that ExKaliber can sell profitably on Amazon, Walmart and other eCommerce marketplaces.
esearch and analyze online selling activity to determine consumer interests, buying trends and to keep abreast of competitor merchandise.
rive new product development, overseeing every stage from concept, development, sourcing, and retail strategies.
pot new market opportunities by keeping a finger on the pulse of industry trends and retail channels by analyzing market research and being in the know for industry events.
ollect and assess market competition by utilizing tools and marketing data to compare the health and evolution of our product catalogs versus competitors.
eep an eye on the product life cycles to determine strategic courses to improve existing products.
elp guide the direction of future product lines by evaluating new product ideas using an in-house process to assess sales opportunity, profitability, and longevity.
etermine new product pricing through thorough analysis of market research data, production and sales costs, projected volumes, and special or custom order costs.
ssess current product lines and optimize, evolve, and/or pivot strategies by analyzing performance metrics and preparing reports that include addressing customer feedback, quality, improvements, and financial ROI.
chedule meetings with Sales Channel Managers to gather their needs, feedback, and sales progress assess the success of each product line on its strategic course.

anage and oversee a small offshore support team for sourcing and competitor analysis purposes.
Qualifications.
MUST HAVE.
3-4 years of professional work experiencesourcing toysfor Amazon marketplace in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
UST HAVE.
Familiarity with using basic Amazon tools such as Keepa, Jungle Scout, Helium 10,Strong familiarity with Amazon’s platform and its various features, including the ability to navigate and search for products on the site.
UST HAVE.
Understanding of how to track product prices, sales ranks, and other data points over time.
nowledge of how to use Amazon tools and filters to analyze data and make informed sourcing and purchasing decisions.
