PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST (INDIRECT BUYER)

Roles and Responsibilities Contribute to Infineon’s top and bottom line by securing supply and sourcing competitively to support profitable growth.
This includes acting as main interface to Infineon’s suppliers, monitoring market developments, utilizing best in class procurement tools & processes, and steering the operational procurement of goods & services.
Responsible for site or regional procurement based on the defined global category strategy, including strategic tasks (e.
., sourcing, demand management, market analysis), tactical tasks (e.
., RFI/RFQ, negotiation, contracting) and operational tasks.
Contribute to category strategy development and take regional lead for the execution of the strategy as regional buyer.
Act as main site interface to suppliers (incl.
phase-in / evaluation /relationship & consequence management) and negotiate site- or region-specific contracts for the best TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).
Work with internal stakeholders to align demand, priorities (e.
., secure supply vs.
cost saving) and consult on sourcing options.
Apply best in class procurement methods and market intelligence, contribute to continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with local/global rules & processes.
Contribute to KPI target setting, monitor KPIs (e.
., savings, payment terms, process KPIs) and implement appropriate measures in case of deviation.
Manage to achieve negotiation, concept savings targets, and procurement KPIs.
Contribute to operating profit and cash flow targets.
Collaborate regularly with Global Category Manager and represent procurement strategy to key stakeholders across regional sites.
Be passionate about profit! Contribute to process improvements.
Typically resolves problems using existing solutions.
Occasionally lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.
Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience or provide informal guidance to junior staff.

3-5 years of experience of Indirect Procurement Bachelor’s degree in business admin or related field, or equivalent Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP Strong negotiation and interaction skills Problem solving and cost analytic skills Supplier relationship management and commercial contract management Strong team player in a local and regional environment Possess integrity, excellent communication skills, can-do attitude, strong work ethic English language proficiency #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
