Job Overview TE Connectivity's Manufacturing and Process Development Engineering Teams significantly impact LEANPD driven new product development projects, driving for excellence in existing manufacturing technologies and methods and striving to implement new manufacturing technologies to provide improved process and tolerance control.
They act as the binding element between product development and manufacturing engineering, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of this critical interface.
They support Product Development in the optimization of designs and piece parts for manufacturability by realizing sample tooling/products/prototypes.
They also design, develop, and qualify tooling and processes to meet TE quality and production standards, document all processes and tooling in applicable TE systems, support supply chain to verify supplier compliance and capability, initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, cost and cycle time and adhere to all appropriate specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements.

RESPONSABILITIES.
-Establish and lead the Centre of Excellence for product family manufacturing engineering.
-Develop and implement best practices, standards, and guidelines for product family processes.
-Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes across product families to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
-Identify and implement process improvements and innovations tailored to specific product families -Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams on product family processes.
-Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive process improvements.
-Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of manufacturing teams -Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on product family initiatives -Stay abreast of the latest advancements in manufacturing technology and methodologies -Lead pilot projects and trials to assess the feasibility and benefits of new technologies -Ensure all product family processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
-Develop and enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality.
REQUIREMENTS.
•Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
•7 years of experience in a similar roles •Advanced English •Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on product family processes.
•Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
•Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
•Experience with ERP systems and their role in manufacturing operations.
•Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
•Knowledge of Industry 4.
