Firmly rooted in visual storytelling, the job offers the outstanding opportunity to drive and shape appealing and immersive narratives across customer-facing events and internal communications.
This is a global role with a wide range of assignments and stakeholders.
You will be part of our Creative Events & Experiences team, collaborating closely with colleagues in the US and Europe, and partners from around the globe.
You will be a creative and collaborative powerhouse among your fellow designers, working closely with the Creative Ops, Design and Marketing teams to conceptualize and implement presentations that look and feel like Zendesk.
The day-to-day.
As a visual storyteller, you will work closely with cross-functional teams within the company assessing topic, audience, and branding to design a set of slides that tell a story and persuade an audience  Create visual stories that engage, inspire, and connect with audiences  Utilize existing brand assets from the Zendesk library to build fresh art directions Identify the need for and create presentation guidelines and templates to scale brand efforts across the company Partner with  the Identity team to develop presentation design system needs, documentation and iteration Think audience experience first.
help create meaningful and smooth presentation flows Take complex, technical concepts and transform them into easy-to-understand, on-brand presentation visual assets Work with cross-functional teams, collaborating with Designers, Copywriters, and the Video Team Partner with the Creative Director to develop and guide the presentation strategy for our annual flagship event, Relate Collaborate with our colleagues from other departments and external partners, like agencies and suppliers Present design solutions to stakeholders, defend design decisions and incorporate feedback Help evolve the Zendesk brand and push it to new levels Skills required.
Proficiency in Adobe, Keynote (including animation), Figma, and Google apps Experience working with motion designers (knowledge of AfterEffects is a plus!) Proficiency in curating visual storytelling that engages Excellent communication skills Ability to translate complex concepts into digestible content Strong graphic design fundamentals (i.
.
typography, colour theory, hierarchy, contrast, and grid/layout composition).
