PAYROLL SPECIALIST

Leading company in the food, health and biosciences industry is looking for a Payroll Specialist! Responsibilities.
Payroll and compliance with local obligations Process local payroll for the different legal entities, which includes union and salaried staff.
Integrate and validate all payroll incidents.
Ensure payroll calculations are aligned with union, local regulations, and local benefits.
Calculation of PTU and work in conjunction with tax area Ensure timely government payments (payroll tax, IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT) and payments to external payroll providers (Si Vale, Skandia, Lockton) Validate the calculation of retirement.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting More than 5 years of experience processing payroll in Mexico, including union and staff.
Experience on integrating analysis and accounting for payroll, integral vision of the payroll process with accountancy.
Proficient in internal control linked to payroll process.
Ability to interpret complex legal- labor and tax information, including audits Experience for making close of months, reconciliations, and integration of accounts.
Strong communication, organizational Intermediate English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive employee data Proficient computer skills, including data processing and MS Office (Excel) Desired knowledge of Workday, Service now.
