OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY ENGINEER FOR WAREHOUSE & DEPOTS

Our Automation & Operation technology team is looking for an Operational Technology engineer experts who will contribute to enable Maersk vision by delivery of technical components of new warehouse, and guiding cross functional teams through complex customer implementations and challenging cure periods.
The right candidates for these positions will possess a detailed understanding of Operational technology in a Warehouse environment, having earned this experience through a career spent on-site supporting operational teams with reliable OT hardware/software integrated platforms.
We are large organization that generates a steady stream of improvement initiatives, business growth opportunities, and challenging operational situations, which require an ability to comfortably manage multiple, and often competing, priorities simultaneously.
This is a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is required.
These regional positions work in concert, but remotely, with our local technology support teams in each country where we have operations, however candidates must be prepared to travel extensively (up to 40% of the time) throughout their assigned geographical territory.
Responsibilities Listed below are some of the key responsibilities that our OT Engineers take on.

Lead project team on delivery and the enablement OT and IT technical components for new warehouse, customer implementation, continuous improvement or innovation projects, e.
, Computers, Handheld Scanners, label Printers, RFDI readers/printers, Put/Pick to Light solutions, Put to Wall, Cubis can and others for the assigned geographic territory.
Ensure Maersk governance, frameworks and cybersecurity standards are followed and implemented effectively Solution Designing of OT technologies that enable Operational process.
Device and Vendor Evaluation/Selection.
Occasional support to Run Operational issues as L3 expert.
Provide feedback to vendor management and procurement teams on supplier performance, making recommendations for alternative sourcing of hardware and services.
Provide technical guidance to Industrial Engineering/Technology teams in their drive to automate/improve our warehouse operations.
Provide training as needed to technical and non-technical teams for warehouse devices.

Partners with Project Mangers or Operational Managers in coordinating troubleshoot and testing efforts between technical (hardware and application) and non-technical (operational and commercial) teams.
Drives project technology teams through challenging situations to successfully deliver solutions within promised timelines.
Provide constant performance feedback to team members and their managers to ensure positive recognition culture and identifying upskilling opportunities.
Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with technical and non-technical leaders within assigned geographic territory.
Technical Expertise Experience with warehouse operational technology OT Compute, operational user devices such as tethered scanners (barcode scanners) handheld scan device (RF guns), rugged tablets, label printing devices and services (Bartender and Cloud Print Solutions) from brands e.

Zebra, Datalogic, Honeywell, Samsung with Android and WinCE.
Experience in Wireless network survey, design, implementation and OT Wireless devices and vendors.
Familiarity with architectural differences for Cloud, On-premises and edge compute/network Experienced with warehouse operational technology architectures Experience in level 1 technical incident triage within an integrated warehouse devices (scan devices and label printers), WAN/LAN network, and the operational process enabling applications (WMS/YMS) Experience with Warehouse, Container Depots and/or Cold Storage operational processes and enabling WMS/YMS applications (e.
