NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE IT CONSULTANT

We are hiring for aNetwork Infrastructure IT Consultant.
This is a hybrid role based in New York, NY.
This person will need to be onsite 3 days per week.
Hours are Monday- Friday, 9AM-5PM.

he Network Infrastructure and Telecommunication team provides for the sustained, efficient, and effective delivery of network infrastructure, and telecommunications to enhance service delivery to employees, and partners.
he team manages highly complex network and telecommunication at the Central office and 55+ Satellite sites throughout the five boroughs and manages/supports network for over employees.
he team is in process of refreshing the infrastructure with modern hardware and solutions at its satellite sites.
The team will be required to perform fieldwork, visiting the various buildings to replace the hardware, where necessary.
he team must work at 40+ sites replacing close to 150 network hardware and connections.
hese sites house staff who support NYS Courts, borough halls and other city agencies.
Currently the network hardware at these satellite sites are over 10 years old and End of Life (EoL).
Along with this, the software support has expired for these devices, and they are susceptible to vulnerabilities.
downtime on these devices will block communication to these sites and will have operational impacts such as building maintenance, building engineering support and reachability to Police desks at these locations.

At least 12 years of experience in an IT network engineering/ Technician roleMust demonstrate strong understanding complex Routing & Switching EnvironmentsMust possess strong experience with Meraki, Firewalls, DNA and ISEAbility to work independently is critical.
