Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Buyer Execute material planning for purchased components in alignment with the production plan requirements. Utilize MRP to effectively communication schedules and purchase orders to suppliers, followup with suppliers daily, manage inventory levels to ensure consistent flow of materials, and provide daily updates to the production planningmaster scheduling teams.

Job Responsibilities
Execute material planning to procure raw materials through a consistent process reducing variation on the supply base.
Accountable for inventory performance of set of supplierscommodities to maintain balance of on time delivery and working capital performance.
Utilize MRP to the fullest extent to ensure timely and accurate communication of supplier schedules andor discrete purchase order releases.
Manage the ramp upramp down of new productions in conjunction with the APQP process to ensure consistency of delivery and minimization of obsolete inventories
Minimize all inboundoutbound premium freight
Complete root cause analysis on all supplier interruptions develop robust improvement plans to ensure consistency of material flow.
Support and work with other departments andor functions to resolve materials issues.
Review and adhere to establish processes.
Propose continuous improvement initiatives both internal and external to the function, which drive efficient use of resources.
Communicate forecast to suppliers particularly with long lead time items to ensure material flow in the supply chain.
Follow escalation process to expedite materials andor any other supply issue according to business needs.
Participate and provide support in cost outs and continuous improvement projects.
Support all activities related with accounts payable to ensure on time payment to suppliers and avoid accounts credit hold.
Maintain relationships with supplier base to ensure efficient and transparent flow of twoway communication.
Follow up engineering changes on components or changes of suppliers

Requisitos
Undergraduate degree required in Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred.
13 years experience in materials planningscheduling in the same industry sector
Familiar with forecasting tools Forecast proveedores
APICS CPIM certification qualification or commitment to complete equivalent. Preferable
Highly advanced analytical and cognitive skills.
Experience in MRP, MPS, MinMax tools.
Experience in ERP systems MFG Pro
Bilingual EnglishSpanish.
Proficient in MS Office Excel, able to develop spread sheets
