This role is perfect for someone who’s process-driven, organized, and dedicated to ensuring patients receive essential equipment smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities.
Order Management.
Monitor healthcare portals for incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and promptly handling inquiries from doctors' offices.
Prescription Verification.
Verify prescriptions to meet criteria, eliminating errors and delays in the process.
Insurance Coordination.
Coordinate with insurance companies to confirm code accuracy and coverage, ensuring compliance and smooth order processing.
Queue Management.
Prioritize and manage the order queue, following steps to complete each order efficiently.
Customer Interaction.
Communicate confidently with healthcare providers and patients, providing updates and resolving issues.
The Profile What You Bring.
DME and Medical Coding Knowledge.
Familiarity with DME products, ICD codes, and clinical notes; understanding of insurance processes.
Organizational Skills.
Capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
Excellent Communication.
Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills with healthcare providers and patients.
Adaptability and Initiative.
Comfortable with evolving responsibilities as the company grows.
Professionalism.
A people-oriented problem-solver who independently takes initiative to complete tasks.
