The Content Finance, Strategy & Analysis team is looking for an Associate to join its Latin America team based in Mexico City.
Content Finance, Strategy & Analysis is the team in charge of the valuation and analytical strategy behind our content buying and original content decisions for our local content in the region.
The team works cross-functionally to translate the incredible amount of data at Netflix into financial and strategic decisions regarding the production and acquisition of TV shows and films.
Content Finance, Strategy & Analysis also evaluates the general programming and content strategy, in addition to leading competitive analysis.
We partner closely with the senior leadership of Netflix who depend heavily on the strategic insights we provide to inform critical business decisions across the company.
his role will reside in Netflix's Mexico City office and involves close coordination with members of the Content, Finance, Strategy & Analysis teams across the world.
esponsibilities.
xecute deal and valuation analyses (model building, scenario testing, etc) of new projects in partnership with the Creative and Business Affairs teams.
onduct market research, tracking and compiling industry trends in the region.
evelop analysis to support the understanding of industry trends as well as competitive threats and opportunities.
onduct ongoing analysis of key business drivers and content trends.
ork with leaders within the content organization to translate strategic initiatives into multi-year plans.
egularly present analyses and reports on relevant Content performance, operating, and financial metrics in an easy-to-understand format to senior business leaders.
ompile thoughtful post-mortem analyses to determine areas for optimization and improvement.
ork cross-functionally with other FS&A teams globally as well as Product, Marketing, and Consumer Insights teams.
ualifications.
+ years of experience in a top management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity, hedge fund, and/or media/entertainment/tech company in a strategy/business development/analytical role.
Would it be great if you have worked in a highly demanding environment in which complex modeling and analysis is performed.
xperience in the entertainment industry (having worked in a studio, production company, agency, or distributor) is a plus, though not required.
uperb financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis.
trong communication/presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analyses to executives/senior management clearly and concisely.
he successful candidate must display, through attitude and accomplishments, a strong initiative for anticipating and meeting the business demands of senior-level business managers.
