L&P Bedding Group   Leggett and Platt is seeking a maintenance person for our Wire Mill facility in Carthage Mo.
You will be tasked to diagnose and repair causes of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic malfunctions on all plant equipment/preventative maintenance while working at an efficient pace, meeting all quality expectations and working in a safe manner.
Must have knowledge in OSHA safety programs (LOTO, ARC Flash, etc), Must have good communication skills, good mechanical or electrical skills is a plus.
Experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment will be required.
Proven ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
Previous experience in machine shop operations and the use of machine shop tools and equipment is helpful.
Experience in welding is a plus.
This is a night shift with the possibility of day shift positions as they become available.
Must possess the ability to work as a team player as well and will be working independently in order to complete projects.
This is a hot and cold manufacturing environment.
