The Maintenance Mechanic will help successfully implement designs and build parts/machines to improve current processes in the production of carpet cushion, as well as perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will take direction from the Maintenance Supervisor to assist in completing projects that will improve current processes and keep machinery running in the manufacturing of carpet cushion.
The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6.

So, what will you be doing as a Maintenance Mechanic? Review maintenance work orders and PM’s and projects assigned daily to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner.
Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then build to those specifications.
Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and more according to directions.
Use various machines and hand tools and power tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Maintain equipment and perform basic repairs when needed.
Periodically check products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems and alert supervisor.
Follow all safety procedures and practices.
Provide own tools.
