LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

What's the role? The Logistics Specialist is responsible for interfacing with service providers to ensure on-time imports and exports of shipments and on all aspects of warehousing operations including; inbound, inventory management, outbound reverse logistics and other administrative activities to ensure our customers business requirements are met.
Furthermore, you will work cross functionally, use lean management tools, adapt global standards / guidelines and sustainably solve root cause issues to achieve cost productivity, efficiencies, or service improvements.

What does the role involve? As Logistics Specialist, you will execute distribution management in all aspects and will support Sales and Marketing teams with logistics needs, (tracking, inventory requests, product launches etc.) You will need to plan, forecast and release of purchasing orders to ensure targeted product availability at optimum inventory levels which also means supporting transportation’s freight recovery activities, Additionally, in this role, you will be required to work closely with other Hilti functions such as Customer Service, Sales, Marketing etc.

What you need is.
A Bachelor's degree in (preferably in Engineering, Business or Economics) Master’s degree is a plus Demand planning, forecasting experience is a plus, 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations, Advanced level in English and native in Turkish, Strong Microsoft and PC skills (SAP knowledge is a plus) Detail oriented and well organized, High level of motivation, customer focus and a continuous improvement mentality required, Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude required, Resident in Istanbul.
