Logistics Specialist Length of temporary contract in months.
6 Essential Functions A job function is considered essential when at least one of the following is true.
Responsible for carrying out foreign trade operations in the company, ensuring compliance, in due time and form of the legal requirements dictated by the governmental authorities involved in this matter.
Coordinates and monitors the activities of third parties involved, such as customs brokers and carriers, in order to avoid any type of risk to the company.
Closed follow-up with customs agents and carriers in all foreign trade operations.
Provide support to the local team.

Good understanding of logistics processes.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-language atmosphere.
Ability to work under pressure.
Possess great communication and teamwork skills.
Be self-directed and motivated.
Other Duties Daily follow up to the outbound & inbound shipments, and coordinate together with customs team broker release and after it follow the shipment until customer site.
Resolve matters pertaining to inbound & outbound shipments to ensure compliance with will all applicable import and export laws.
Ensure local import & export customs compliance is setup & run as per local regulations and Metso Outotecglobal/regional guidelines.
Operate with approved and accepted Logistics Service Providers and work according to the Logistics Agreement documentations Return of materials Follow up payments to brokers and freight Companies.
Daily follow up to outbound/Inbound reports.
Revision of Monthly import/export reports.
Ensure Logistics documentation is accurate and complete for transportation Responsibility for obtaining missing/requested information or facilitating documentation corrections from the customs broker to support customs clearance.
To keep the record of each Import/export and be sure that all the information declared to customs authorities is correct.
Provide information and support for stakeholders (e.
