Lead Teacher Location.
The Grove Childcare Center Position.
Full-Time The Grove Childcare Center, is dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children to grow and learn in a nature based and STEM focused learning center.
Our team is passionate about fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in every child.
We believe in building strong relationships with families and the community, and we’re looking for a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team! Position Overview.
As the Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of our young learners.
You will create a stimulating and safe classroom environment, develop engaging lesson plans, and mentor assistant teachers while collaborating with families to support each child’s development.
Key Responsibilities.
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Assess and document children’s progress and development.
Foster strong relationships with families and maintain open communication.
Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom volunteers.
Ensure compliance with all safety and licensing regulations.
Qualifications.
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification.
At least 2 years of experience in a childcare or early education setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.
