Job Description This position is responsible for.
1).
Planning and purchasing of repair parts.
To consist of system maintenance vendor communications repair volume analysis setting lead times coordinating delivery information.
2).
To assist in the development of the Business plan.
The primary objective of this position is to maintain optimal inventory levels while keeping back orders at a minimum.
Job Duties Set-up product database information by creating item master in JD Edwards for new parts introduced into product group.
Maintain JD Edwards with accurate and up-to-date information regarding pricing order point lead-time obsolescence and supplier sourcing.
Analyze daily order point items for past monthly volumes analyze trends to ensure ordering of correct quantities obtain and maintain optimum stock levels and optimize pricing based on purchase quantities.
Create purchase orders on a daily basis for appropriate vendors through JD Edwards; create purchase requisitions for Buyer to place orders with appropriate lead times on all local inventory purchases.
Complete necessary printing faxing confirmation and filing.
Communicate with vendors regarding order status receipt errors delivery information item notes and pricing issues.
Function as liaison between vendors production managers FSEs and warehouse staff in order to communicate pertinent information such as delivery dates product delays and regulatory issues.
Monitor open purchase orders against requested due dates for delivery.
Monitor backorders to improve delivery and reduce backorder volumes with each vendor.
Analyze delivery performance trends for time performance and backorder times.
Support in the development of Business Plan for Parts Purchasing for 1year period.
Generate consumption data for necessary period of time.
Work with finance to ensure timely finance reconciliation working to obtain accurate calculations of yield repair volumes and material usage.
Develop and analyze consumption reports analyze data for recovery percentages and trending of types of repairs and labor codes volumes.
Identify and propose necessary adjustments to repair Bill of materials to improve standard costing.
Participating in quarterly updates to plan FC-1 FC-2 FC-3.
Support a smooth transition from older product lines to new product lines by depleting old stock through analysis of Excess &Obsolete reports for non-activity items.
Participate in GIRC Global Inventory Reduction Committee to determine appropriate write-down amounts by part for partial write-off or full write-off of stock.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports to demonstrate backorder affects upon repairs and to sales customers.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications Required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge preferred.
Minimum 5-years as Inventory Planning Analyst experience required.
Excellent analytical skills and organizational skills required.
Preferred.
Excellent PC skills, Word Processing, Excel, Mainframe system, and strong Access experience.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
Must work well independently.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $ / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
