Key Responsibilities
Monitor Security Tools Assist in monitoring security alerts from systems such as SIEM Security Information and Event Management, IDSIPS Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, firewalls, and cloud security platforms.
Incident Response Support Assist in investigating and responding to security incidents, performing initial analysis and reporting findings to senior team members.
Cloud Security Support Assist in the management of security controls and configurations within cloud environments.
Network Security Assistance Help maintain and enforce network security controls, including firewall configurations, VPN setups, and intrusion detection systems.
Security Auditing Reporting Help conduct security audits in the AMERICAS Region, document findings, and support compliance efforts.
Collaboration Work closely with other security engineers, IT teams, and developers to ensure security best practices are integrated into daytoday operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications desirable
13 years of experience in information security, with an emphasis on cloud and network security.
Basic knowledge of cloud security principles and familiarity with at least one cloud platform.
Understanding of network security fundamentals, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDSIPS systems.
Basic understanding of incident response processes and the ability to assist in security investigations.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical staff.
Relevant security certifications, such as CompTIA Security, Microsoft Security Certifications, or Certified Ethical Hacker CEH.
