JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Description     Position.
Junior Accountant    Reports To.
Finance Director     1.
Objective   Opportunity for an early career professional to join a finance team in a growing business and provide support across a variety of financial functions and reporting.
Will report to the Finance Director but will develop close working relationships with the other members of the team, including the Finance Manager and Management Director.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities   Invoice creation support, including uploading invoices to company's ERP system.
Post cash receipts and payments to financial ledgers, updating financial records via company's ERP system.
Daily reconciliation of bank accounts  Weekly cashflow preparation  Book-keeping, monthly processing, and reporting of financial data via company's ERP system  Following and managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expenses processes via company's ERP system.
Preparation of the Latin America management accounts monthly in accordance with reporting timetable and advise on accounting issues, support where needed.
Monthly employee expenses review and receipt verification.
Training new hires on use of ERP system (timesheet, expense entry and time off tracking)  Provide general support to finance team and respond to requests on an ad-hoc basis.
Person Profile   Skills/Experience     Professional   Degree in accounting or finance Minimum 2 – 5 years Post Qualification Experience Experience with accounting software and data entry Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures Use of Microsoft Office – especially Excel including Pivot Tables & VLOOKUP's
