is looking for a Java Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico.

You will join one of the software development teams dedicated to creating/enhancing desktop-based and web-based applications while working with some of the latest technologies in user interfaces, server architecture, and cloud-based computing.
The relaxed but fast-paced work environment promotes open seating, paired programming, cross-team/office collaboration, efficient communication, Scrum methodologies, and TDD principles.
Your duties include solving complex issues, learning/teaching new technologies, promoting growth, and assuring your team delivers on its commitments.
The project duration is at least 5-6 months, with a high probability of extension if all goes well Requirements.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in coding.
Understanding designing and developing object-oriented, flexible, scalable, and extensible Java components.
Good understanding of frameworks like Spring, Struts, and Hibernate.
Hands on experience with Java, JSP, JSPF, JSTL, Rest/SOAP Services, Jakarta Enterprise Beans, JPA, etc.
Knowledge of Java editors, specifically IBM RAD, Eclipse/MyEclipse.
Working knowledge with testing tools like JUnit, etc.
Knowledge of IBM web sphere server configurations value added.
Working experience with SQL queries.
Familiarity with IBM DB2.
Accuracy of estimates and conformance to planning.
Expertise in ensuring unit testing side by side with developed code.
Understanding of first-time ticket resolution with the ability to measure resolved vs.
reopened tickets.
Adherence to the technology and organization-wide processes to get the work done.
Excellent team player with the ability to work independently and in time-sensitive environments.
Motivated self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a team production environment.

Responsibilities.
Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
Ensure that the code meets specifications.
Write easily maintainable code and debug your own code for preliminary testing.
Practice standard software development methodologies and standards.
Enhance, modify, and repair existing code.
Contribute to the development, delivery, and maintenance of technology-based business solutions.
Code, test, and implement configuration changes to software applications to meet functional and technical requirements.
Be involved in the full software development lifecycle in coordination with other engineers, QA, and designers.
Be adept at articulating ideas clearly and well.
Generate innovative ideas and support new ideas or approaches that enhance service.
Ensure that all architectural/coding guidelines are followed.
Participate in requirements debriefing and finalizing requirements.
Participate in root-cause analysis, communicate options for resolution, and provide recommendations to customer-facing technology problems.
