Role Overview.
As a Software Engineer II, reporting to the Sr.
Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with Product Management and Architecture teams to execute McDonald's Digital Technologies vision and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities.
Engage in all phases of the agile development life cycle.
design, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
Contribute to defining, designing, and developing product features from start to finish.
Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions to enhance service performance, adaptability, cost, and security.
Apply software engineering best practices to maintain high-quality standards.
Work in an agile, startup-like environment, focusing on critical priorities.
Requirements.
Professional experience in software development.
Extensive programming experience with Swift, Objective-C, and iOS technologies and APIs.
Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Solution-oriented with the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Proven leadership in driving operational excellence and best practices.
Attention to detail and a passion for improving customer experiences.
Ability to manage projects from requirements to delivery.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
