Internal Auditor Hotels

The Internal Auditor role is a unique and exciting opportunity to join HYATT. As a member of the Internal Audit Team, the individual will be involved in performing higher level professional internal auditing, conducting financial and compliance audit projects. The audit projects include auditing of hotel level financial and operational controls. The individual will be responsible for executing audit projects assigned and will maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards. The individual should be able to work as team player under Seniors or Supervisors supervision showing initiative, commitment and proactivity in the activities assigned. They will also be part of a broader Hyatt corporate team that is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, is committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills, and building connections across the organization with stakeholders, colleagues, and guests.

Your main functions will be

Performing audit procedures according to the Hyatt Inclusive Collection audit program, including identifying issues, conducting interviews, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting audit workpapers and reports.

Maintaining fluid and professional communication with the audited areas and with the rest of the work team during the execution of projects assigned, as well as assist in communicating the results of audit via wirtten reports oral presentations to management.

Assist the Senior Internal Auditor in the control of the required information, communicating timely delays, and potential effects to the project.

Develops and maintains productive relationships throughout the company through individual contacts and meetings.

Carry out the followup and monitoring of the corrective actions proposed by the Company, according to the plans and calendars defined by its supervisors.

Your profile

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
At least, one years of fulltime in auditing, accounting or business analysis.
English skills written and verbal required
15 to 25 travel but may change with business conditions and requirements.
Prior experience in a data analytics role or projects preferred
Selfmotivated, highly collaborative, and the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels
Excellent communications and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills and detailorientation, with ability to heavily multitask
Experience with data analytics tools, including by not limited to Alteryx or Tableau
Experience of operations and related hotel systems, including but not limited to Oracle, Hyperion, MicrosInfo Genesis, iScala, Opera or Innsist is preferred.
