Job Description:
The Intermediate QA Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be a vital part of the software development process, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of both front-end and back-end applications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in testing methodologies, designing comprehensive test cases, and leveraging automation tools. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:
Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design test plans that cover both front-end and back-end functionalities.
Test Case Design: Create detailed and effective test cases that encompass different usage scenarios, edge cases, and potential issues.
Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of applications to identify bugs, issues, and areas for improvement.
Automation Testing: Utilize automation tools to develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for both front-end and back-end applications.
Regression Testing: Implement and maintain a robust regression testing framework to ensure that new features or changes do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
Defect Tracking: Log and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting of issues.
Performance Testing: Collaborate with performance engineers to conduct performance and load testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure applications meet performance expectations.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to understand requirements and provide quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test plans, and test results.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and methodologies, and actively contribute to the improvement of the testing process.

Technical Skills:
Testing Tools: Proficient in using testing tools for both manual and automated testing (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Jira).
Programming Languages: Knowledge of scripting or programming languages for test automation (e.g., Java, Python).
Front-end Testing: Experience testing user interfaces, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and devices.
Back-end Testing: Ability to test and validate the functionality of server-side components, databases, and APIs.
Automation Frameworks: Familiarity with automation frameworks and the ability to design, implement, and maintain automated test suites.
Version Control: Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
Testing Methodologies: Knowledge of various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and the ability to adapt testing strategies accordingly.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and articulate issues effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and reporting.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
