INNOVATION SPECIALIST

As an Innovation Strategy Specialist  you will be a key driver of Viva Aerobus's innovation efforts, acting as an internal consultant to identify, develop, and execute projects that foster a culture of innovation and drive organizational growth.
This role combines strong project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explore emerging trends, technologies, and market dynamics to create new products, services, and disruptive ideas.
Focused on cost efficiencies, customer experience, revenue innovation, and operational excellence, the position requires a blend of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills to deliver impactful solutions that enhance the company's competitive edge.
Your derivables will be.
Lead and manage innovation projects and initiatives to ensure timely and effective execution, resource allocation, and risk management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and coordinate stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Organize and lead innovation workshops and other events to stimulate creative thinking and problem-solving with internal employees, universities, and research centers, fostering collaboration and creativity.
Stay current with emerging technologies (AI) and assess their potential applications in the airline industry.
Support the Innovation Strategy Manager in exploring and testing new technologies, evaluating their feasibility for implementation within the organization.
Develop financial models and business cases for innovation projects, supporting decision-making and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Gather and collect data from various sources, such as surveys, interviews, market research, and experiments to understand the customer journey.
Conduct benchmarking of innovation practices and solutions in the airline industry, identifying trends and best practices to inform company strategies.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and presentations on innovation projects and outcomes.
Analyze and support the correct implementation of technology solutions within the company.
Our ideal Candidate.
Educational background in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Administration, Economics, or Financial Assessment.
Advanced proficiency in English.
Proficiency in MS Office; desirable knowledge in SQL, Miro, and Monday.
Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant roles.
Advanced Excel skills (XLS Champion) and financial modeling expertise.
Ability to create executive-level presentations (PPT C-Level).
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, proactiveness, and an innovative mindset.
Experience in innovation departments with knowledge of open and closed innovation processes.
Proven focus on in-house innovation with practical examples of successful projects.
